I am not an academic philosopher. So why so much about “Functional Empiricism” here? A phrase I made up myself, one afternoon to cover an existentialist, empiricist and uniquely scientific mindset? Because sometime you have to state the blindingly obvious a bit more clearly!

What I understand by “philosopher”: a terrible explosive in the presence of which everything is in danger.
